Spruce Drive trail closure notice

Local trail users are advised of an upcoming trail closure along the trail parallel to the east side of Spruce Drive.

City officials say a portion of the trail will be closed for approximately two days as light tree branch removal work is completed. The city says this work comes ahead of future trail building and re-surfacing, which is expected to provide improved access to underground utility infrastructure. The city says minimal pruning of tree branches is required, and environmental considerations have been undertaken to minimize impacts to existing wildlife in the area.

Trail users are advised to obey all barricades and use alternate routes in the area. The city says your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
