RCMP update investigation into human remains found at Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary

Red Deer RCMP said Monday there is no evidence to suggest the death linked to human remains found in the Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary last week is suspicious.
On April 3, RCMP shared they had received a report of human remains somewhere in the large natural area behind the Kerry Wood Nature Centre on March 29.
They’d also said the remains would be sent to the Calgary office of the Chief Medical Examiner for identification.
They added Monday they have found “the remainder” of the human remains, and work to identify continues.
