Mar 31, 2025 | 1:32 PM

This is a candidate profile for the April 28, 2025 federal election.

All candidates have been asked the same four questions, and were given a 600-word limit.

Responses are unedited for grammar and spelling, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of rdnewsNOW and Pattison Media.

Advance voting days are April 18, 19, 20 and 21. More info here.

1) Why are you running to be a Member of Parliament?

I am running to be an MP to remind people that their MP’s work for them and are not simply elected to propagate party agendas and maintain their positions regardless of performance for years on end. I have watched the landscape of Canadian politics move further and further away from the foundation of people up representation and feel it is time to bring this reminder and a strong voice for Red Deer representation to Ottawa. I am running to offer a true change for Canada, I am running to preserve confederacy by advocating to reduce the size of the Federal Government while restoring autonomy to Provincial leaders over their respective jurisdictions. I hope to bring faith back to a system that many have become disillusioned by and earn the votes of people who have, ‘given up,’ and feel like their voices haven’t counted.

2) Why should people vote for you, and what skills do you have that make you suitable for this role?

I am here to work for you. To listen to your concerns and challenges and bring your voice to the House of Commons in Ottawa. I know the effort, faith and strength required for true change. I’ve worked with Canadians for the last decade learning their financial situations and finding solutions. I have faced my greatest fears and found peace on the other side. I am a fierce advocate and stand up for what is right. I admit when I am wrong and keep a humble heart. I am aware of my shortcomings and know that I don’t know it all, to balance this I am a quick learner and ask questions. I am a student of life. You should vote for me because I believe in you, the voter and respect the responsibility and magnitude of this opportunity.

3) What will you advocate for; and do you intend to fully toe the party line?

I will advocate for the priorities of the people of my riding, the people who by voting for me provided me with the privilege to speak for and represent them in the House of Commons. Unlike mainstream parties, the PPC does not have a Whip nor the expectation that party lines are toe’d. We have a platform that we believe in and support but truly represent the ridings in which we are elected. We were founded on the principles of Individual Freedom, Personal Responsibility, Respect and Fairness. Our party is comfortable with holding opinions that are uncomfortable as long as they are true and in the best interest of the people we represent. We do not compromise what is important to our riding in the interest of securing votes in others.

4) How do you believe Canada’s federal government should tackle its current predicament with the United States, and where do you sit on Canadian sovereignty?

By taking accountability for its failing and working extremely efficiently to improve. We need a moratorium on immigration to get our house in order. Our borders need to be secured, especially to the flow of people we have allowed to come to our country who’ve overstayed visas or arrived under false pretenses and to narcotics which are killing thousands of Canadians. Retaliatory tariffs on Canadians bringing US goods into Canada will only increase our cost of living problem. Trump, a convenient scapegoat, is not responsible for our weak economy and defenseless state. We need to: -Reduce pipeline red tape to open our ports to the export of oil East & West, reducing dependency on the US -Resource our military rather than foreign militaries -Eliminate arbitrary firearms legislation -Bolster our self defense laws -Dismantle interprovincial trade barriers -Incentivize innovation I am firmly in favour of Canadian sovereignty, severing ties from Global organizations (UN, WHO) that dictate policy (Paris Accord, Compact for Migration) to our governments would regain the sovereignty that we are under the illusion of currently having.
