World Religions Conference explores perspectives on life and death
Why are we here, what’s our purpose and what happens after death?
These are the kinds of questions that echo across faith, philosophy, and scientific exploration, and that the 18th annual World Religions Conference aims to explore when it returns on April 4.
“Living with Purpose: Perspectives on Life and Death” will explore these themes from diverse perspectives. From religious doctrines to secular philosophies, the event seeks to encourage a nuanced understanding of how our worldview shapes our approach to living a purposeful life and facing the inevitability of death.
Event organizers say speakers will examine these themes through the lens of their traditions, scriptures and expertise in the spirit of respect, curiosity and shared learning.
