First Thursday Concert Series welcomes international violinist and Calgary pianist

The Friends of the Red Deer Public Library (Downtown Branch) invites residents to experience the works of violinist Kevin A. Lefohn and Steinway artist Derek Zhi Guang Chiu in its next iteration of the First Thursday Concert Series.

Lefohn has an international career as a recital soloist, chamber musician, conductor and pedagogue. He currently holds a faculty teaching position at Pacific University and is a faculty artist at the InterHarmony International Music Festival in Acqui Terme, Italy.

Chiu is a seasoned Canadian pianist and piano pedagogue from Calgary, Alberta.

The concert will be held on April 3 from 12:15-1 p.m. in the Snell Auditorium of the Red Deer Public Library.

The Red Deer Public Library asks attendees to pre-register online. If you are unable to attend the concert in person, it will be livestreamed on YoutTube as well.
