Red Deer green cart collection returning to weekly schedule

The City of Red Deer would like to inform residents that green cart collections will return to a weekly schedule starting Monday, March 31.
Green carts are an easy way for residents to dispose of their yard waste and other organic materials. If your green cart is full, extra yard waste can be set out one meter away from any cart in a paper yard waste bag or loose in a garbage can for pick up. Small branches should be bundled and tied with a string.
Residents can also sign up for cart collection alerts through Notify Red Deer for reminders about which carts to put out each week. Printable collection calendars are also available online.
