BCHL partners with AI platform for enhanced scheduling

The BC Hockey League has signed a multi-year agreement with Fastbreak AI.

Fastbreak AI is a software company which will introduce to the league and its fans AI-powered sports scheduling. This will ensure balanced and optimized schedules for league and conference play.

“This partnership underscores our ongoing commitment to improving league operations now and in the future,” said BCHL Commissioner, Steven Cocker.

“With this software, we are better able to manage logistics, reduce time on the road for our athletes and optimize game schedules in the best interest of our fans. Our schedule is the backbone of our business, and using Fastbreak Pro allows for an enhanced fan experience. This is a significant advancement for our league and we are proud to be one of the first amateur sports leagues to use Fastbreak.”

Fastbreak Pro, the specific platform the company uses for scheduling, was recently shortlisted in the ‘Best in AI’ category by the Sports Business Journal’s Best in Tech Awards.
