Jocelyn Peterman set to compete at 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship

Former Red Deerian Jocelyn Peterman and her partner Brett Gallant will compete at the 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Summerside, P.E.I. beginning on Sunday.

The pair, who now call Chestermere, Alta. home, will take part in the six-day tournament that concludes on Friday for a chance to represent the country at the 2026 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship and to win a $100,000 prize purse.

The duo are fresh off winning the the 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Trials in January and are pushing for a third Canadian mixed doubles crown after winning in in 2016 and 2019.

The tournament consists of 32 teams split into four pools of eight, who will play a seven-game round-robin schedule. One that is concluded, 12 teams will advance to the single knockout playoffs that begin on Thursday.

The four pool winners earn a bye into the quarterfinals on Thursday evening and the semi-finals are set for Friday morning.

The gold medal game will take place at 1 p.m.
