Rugby Canada names 28-player roster for U-20 women’s tour of Ireland in May
LANGFORD, B.C. — Coach Dean Murten has named his 28-player Canadian under-20 women’s rugby squad for a tour of Ireland in May.
The young Canadians will play their Irish counterparts on May 10 and May 17 at the IRFU High Performance Centre in Dublin.
The tour roster includes 14 players from the side that went unbeaten at last year’s inaugural Transatlantic Quad Series, beating England, the U.S. and host Wales. The returning players include Kennedi Stevenson, Adelaide Holmes and Rachel Cullum, Canada’s leading try-scorers from the 2024 event.
“This is an exciting group of up-and-coming players that our experienced coaching staff is looking forward to working with in Ireland,” Murten said Friday in a statement.
