Mar 13, 2025 | 9:53 AM

Winter weather hasn’t gone away quite yet as a snowfall warning has been issued for parts of central Alberta.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the precipitation is expected to start this morning with heavy snowfall at times.

Approximately, 10-20 centimetres of snow is expected but the snowfall will end by this evening.

Red Deer and area at this time appears to remain unaffected by the warning but communities as far north as Rimbey, and as far west as Rocky Mountain House will see an abundance of snow.
