Olds RCMP arrest three found in alleged stolen vehicle

Olds RCMP have arrested three individuals who were allegedly found in a stolen vehicle.

On March 1, Olds RCMP received a complaint there were suspicious individuals in a vehicle near the Dodge dealership just outside of town.

RCMP located the vehicle and alleged it was stolen from Blackfalds, leading to the arrest of three occupants. Police reported finding other stolen items in the vehicle as well.

As a result, a 35-year-old woman has been charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent and is scheduled to attend Alberta Court of Justice in Didsbury on March 24.

• Theft of motor vehicle
• Possession of stolen property over $5000 (x2)
• Fail to comply with release order (x4)

A second man, 26, was also charged with:

• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
• Possession of a weapon while prohibited
• Taking motor vehicle without consent
• Fail to comply with release order

The two male suspects were both remanded into custody to attend Alberta Court of Justice in Didsbury on March 24.
