Lacombe’s Brady McKinlay has been named to the 2025 Canadian men’s national golf team.

Golf Canada made the announcement on Thursday when they announced the names of all 24 male and female professional athletes who will represent Canada this season.

Meanwhile, Red Deer’s Eileen Park will return for her second season on Canada’s NextGen girls team.

The Team Canada Program supports amateur athletes on their journey to playing professional golf. McKinlay and the other golfers who were selected were chosen based on their results from last year.

“We are proud to announce our full roster of professional and amateur players for the upcoming season and look forward to supporting their development and journeys to the LPGA and PGA TOUR,” said Emily Phoenix, Director of High Performance, Golf Canada in a media release.

“The continued success of Canadian golf would not be possible without our generous donors and corporate partners who share our passion for supporting our nation’s developing talent.”
