Three Hills RCMP look to identify identity fraud suspect

RCMP in Three Hills are hoping the public can help them identify a woman who allegedly conducted identity fraud at a local bank in December.

It was Dec. 10, 2024 when the woman attended at ATB branch in Three Hills.

It’s said she provided the bank teller with a fake Alberta driver’s license in an account holder’s name, and attempted to deposit a cheque.

The bank teller recognized that the driver’s license was not authentic and prevented the release of funds.
