VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks traded forward J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers in a five-player deal Friday night.

Defencemen Erik Brannstrom and Jackson Dorrington were also headed to the Big Apple.

In return, the Canucks acquired forward Filip Chytil, defenceman Victor Mancini and a conditional first-round pick in the 2025 NHL draft.

Both teams confirmed the trade via news release.

Miller, who was scratched from the Canucks’ game in Dallas on Friday, has 35 points in 40 games.

The Canucks had dealt with a reported rift between Miller and forward Elias Pettersson this season.
