RDP receives grant to advance research and economics in Canada
Red Deer Polytechnic announced on Wednesday they’re among 38 post-secondary institutions across Canada who are receiving over $24 million in lab-to-market funding from the federal government.
The grant from the Government of Canada will help bring more academic research ideas at RDP to life, support Indigenous business, and drive economic growth.
According to a media release from RDP, the College-University Lab to Market Network for Entrepreneurship and Research Commercialization will provide the school with the tools to create research into solutions as well as help grow the economy.
“We are excited to be a member of the College-University Lab to Market Network for Entrepreneurship and Research Commercialization and help contribute to the growth of applied research across Canada,” sais Dr. Tonya Wolfe, Associate Vice President, Applied Research, Red Deer Polytechnic in a media release.
