École Oriole Park holding French Immersion open house

Red Deer families who are curious about French Immersion programming are invited to École Oriole Park Elementary’s French Immersion open house on Jan. 20.

Held from 6-7 p.m. in the library of the school, families will have a chance to meet teachers, tour the school and gain insights into how French Immersion fosters bilingualism, academic success and cultural understanding.

The evening will begin with a short program.

“We are proud to offer a vibrant French Immersion program that equips students with the skills and confidence to thrive in both of Canada’s official languages,” said Ryan Kure, principal at École Oriole Park Elementary. “Our open house is a wonderful opportunity for families to see firsthand how engaging and enriching a French Immersion education can be. We look forward to welcoming families to École Oriole Park.”

The event is open to families exploring French Immersion beginning in the newly expanded full-day Kindergarten program or Grade One.
