Rebels add forward after release from Rockets, return another to CSSHL

The Red Deer Rebels have added another forward to the roster.

Brett Calhoon, who turned 19 last Friday, joins the Rebels after being released by the Kelowna Rockets on Jan. 10.

In his third WHL season, Calhoon has 10 points, including four goals, in 33 games with Kelowna.

The Kamloops native was taken by Medicine Hat, where he played 37 games over two seasons, 193rd overall in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.

The lefty has 22 points in 97 career games.

Additionally, the Rebels have returned forward Noah Milford to Calgary IHA (CSSHL) after he made his WHL debut with the Rebels as an affiliate player Saturday versus Prince Albert.
