RCMP warns public to keep vehicles off Sylvan Lake after two fell through the ice

The Sylvan Lake RCMP are advising the public to stay off the ice with motorized vehicles after two broke through the ice today.

Police say no injuries were reported in these incidents, but they shine a light on the need for caution while on the lake ice.

The thickness of the ice can vary throughout the lake and current conditions are not safe for heavy equipment and vehicles.
