$40 million won by someone in Alberta, outside of Calgary & Edmonton

If you bought a LOTTO MAX ticket on Tuesday, December 3, your life could be about to change.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation says someone in the province, not in Calgary or Edmonton, will share the $80 million jackpot with a person from Quebec. Each of those winners will walk away with an estimated $40 million.

The winning numbers for Tuesday’s LOTTO MAX draw were: 9, 14, 21, 26, 29, 32 and 41.

That was not the only major prize won in the province, however.

A person from Alberta got a perfect match on the EXTRA draw with the digital 6257283. That comes with a prize of $250,000.

Another Albertan will be able to claim the second-place amount of $100,000 in the EXTRA draw, matching the last six digits. This was also won somewhere outside of the province’s two largest cities.
