Red Deer Emergency Services (RDES) quickly responded to and controlled a detached garage fire in the Glendale neighbourhood on the evening of Nov. 27.
Crews received notice of the fire on 59 Avenue at 9:16 p.m. and got it under control within about 40 minutes, said Tyler Pelke, RDES deputy chief.
RDES sent four engines and one platoon chief, with most of the crew being dismissed shortly after arrival as the scene was quickly controlled.
Pelke added that property damage was limited to the garage, there were no injuries to staff or civilians, and no evacuations were required.
