BCHL launches fan vote to complete All-Star selections

The BCHL wants fans’ help selecting the final of its 2024-25 all-stars.

Wednesday, initial rosters were announced for All-Star Weekend, coming up Jan. 18 in Salmon Arm.

There are three spots up for grabs for fans to decide.

Only one vote per day will be counted. The fan vote ends on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. MT. The results will be announced the following day.

Among those fans can vote for is Joey Melo of the Blackfalds Bulldogs. Melo, who committed to the University of Alaska Anchorage earlier this year, has six goals and six assists through 14 games in the BCHL this season.

Once votes are tallied, players will be split into four teams for the 3-on-3 all-star tournament.

Ticket information for All-Star Weekend will be available in the coming weeks.
