Red Deer Food Bank holds online auction for winter support

The Red Deer Food Bank invites residents to take advantage of its online holiday auction, an opportunity to support the organization and score something for yourself in one move.

The auction features 80 donated items including gift cards for grocers, restaurants and a range of services, household items, and experiences around Red Deer.

Bidding opens today, November 27, and closes at 9 p.m. on Sunday, December 1.

Red Deer Food Bank officials say need is high this year as the system is reaching its limit; the Red Deer Food Bank warehouse nearly ran out of food twice since this time last year.
