Central Alberta Theatre (CAT) is set to present Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, a production which will help you rediscover romance.

Show dates run from Nov. 29 to Dec. 15 at the CAT studio theatre (4214 58 Street).

“In the era of Bridgerton,” say directors Wanda Oler and Robyn Jeffrey, “who doesn’t want to dress up and watch people fall in love? Come be transported to a different time and place. You are all invited to Pemberley Manor for Christmas!”

According to CAT:

Set two years after Jane Austen’s classic novel, Miss Bennet focuses on Mary Bennet, the middle sister who never quite fit the mold. As her family gathers at Pemberley for Christmas, Mary hopes to break away from her dutiful role. The arrival of an unexpected guest offers Mary the chance for a romance of her own—one that could finally make her the heroine of her story.

Co-directed by local talents Wanda Oler and Robyn Jeffrey, this charming romantic comedy promises all the warmth, wit, and holiday magic that CAT audiences have come to love. With themes of independence and personal discovery, Miss Bennet is a poignant reminder of the joys of family and the possibilities of new beginnings.

Show Dates:

  • Nov 29, 30 , 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 @ 7:30 p.m.
  • Dec 1, 8, 15 @ 1:00 p.m. (Matinee)

Tickets are available on CAT’s website or through the CAT box office at 403-967-1769.
