Salvation Army Red Deer launches holiday campaigns to help families

The holiday season has arrived and the Salvation Army Red Deer has launched their annual Christmas campaign to help provide families and seniors in need.

Their adopt-a-family and adopt-a-senior programs are now open and are looking for local sponsors to help.

Appointments to apply for the programs are also being accepted and will be available until Dec. 13.

The Salvation Army Red Deer is also looking for donations of cash, toys, and gift cards to help those in need.

Donations can be dropped off at their office located at 4837 54 Street between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Those interested can also support the Salvation Army at the upcoming Christmas Wish Breakfast on Nov. 24 at Westerner Park.
