Olds College helping international students feel ‘Home for the Holidays’
Once again, Olds College is holding its annual Home for the Holidays initiative, which aims to make the season brighter for international and out-of-province students.
From December 13 to January 3, the program, facilitated by Olds College International Student Experience, encourages local residents and school staff to host students for a traditional holiday or winter activity.
Potential activities could range from a special family dinner, a volunteer event, tobogganing or ice skating, to something as simple as a fireside movie marathon.
We’re thrilled to bring back this initiative after such a positive response last year,” said Karen Dancy, director of recruitment and international at Olds College. “It’s a wonderful way to foster connection and inclusivity while giving students a meaningful experience during the holiday season.”
