RCMP respond to break and enter call at Hunting Hills High School

Red Deer RCMP attended a call for a break and enter at Hunting Hills High School Thursday night.

An RCMP spokesperson told rdnewsNOW that a youth had accessed the roof of the building and was apprehended by police.

Mounties say the offence is being treated by extrajudicial measures and no charges have been laid.

The news had sparked interest by those in the community on an Instagram social media page.

In the post that contained multiple videos, viewers can see police vehicles surrounding the school and blocking off entry points.

Police confirmed that Police Dog Services were also called to the scene but explained that’s standard for every call they attend where there’s a break and enter.
