50th Street to be temporarily closed to repair water leak

The City of Red Deer announced Wednesday that there will be a traffic disruption on 50 Street as crews work to repair a water leak.

The road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 45 Ave. to 47 Ave. There will be a traffic detour along 45 Ave. to 53 Street.

Motorists are advised to follow detour signage, obey all signs, and are asked to slow down when approaching the area.
