ASRAB Sight Night event set for Saturday evening

The Alberta Sports & Recreation Association for the Blind will shine a light on inclusivity on Saturday evening.
At 6 p.m. at Bower Ponds, the ASRAB will welcome not only individuals with visual impairment, but everyone to partake in the annual Sight Night Red Deer event that promises an unforgettable experience.
The event is a fun run and walk fundraiser that takes place after dark but organizers say it’s not just a run. It’s also a celebration of inclusivity and a fun way of breaking down barriers and create understanding. Those involved will witness the power of adaptive sports and camaraderie.
Those who would like to participate can do so in person at 5 p.m. They are expecting approximately 100 runners at the event and those who register will receive a head lamp and post event snacks.
