Lacombe’s Rudolph to suit up for Canada at 2024 U17 World Challenge
A central Alberta hockey player has been named to one of two Canadian rosters for the upcoming 2024 U17 World Challenge.
Daxon Rudolph, 16, of Lacombe, AB, is a defenceman with the WHL’s Prince Albert Raiders and will suit up for Team Canada White when the event takes place Nov. 3-9 at Progressive Auto Sales Arena in Sarnia, Ontario.
In six games with the Raiders so far this season, Rudolph has one goal and one assist for two points and is a + 1.
His past events within the national program include three games at the 2024 National Under-17 Development Camp, and four games played at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games.
