Red Deer’s summer amenities about to close

City of Red Deer PSA — As the City settles into fall, staff are preparing to shut down some summer amenities for the upcoming winter season.

Starting Oct. 1, crews will close Lions Campground, followed by washroom closures at Kin Kanyon, Rotary Park, Kiwanis Park and the Glendale Skatepark.

They anticipate these seasonal facilities to be closed for the season by Oct. 4.
