PointsBet Curling Invitational hitting the ice in Calgary

Red Deer born and raised Jocelyn Peterman and her partner Brett Gallant are heading to the 2024 PointsBet Curling Invitational in Calgary in the hopes of kicking off the 2024-25 campaign successfully.

Peterman, playing second for Team Lawes, and her husband Gallant, also playing second for Team Jacobs, are both competing in the Sept. 25-29 event at the WinSport Event Centre in Calgary.

Wednesday and Thursday will be dedicated to Sweep 16 action, where all teams will compete and then get whittled down to eight teams who will compete on Friday. Then, the final four will run semifinals on Saturday and the champion teams will compete on Sunday.

The full schedule and first-round matchups can be found online, in addition to a full teams and players list.
