AUPE members rallying in Innisfail

Several rallies are being organized across Alberta following more than 50 bargaining town halls held by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) in June, and the next one takes place in Innisfail.

On Wednesday, September 25, AUPE members will rally at the Innisfail Health Centre (5023 42 Street) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“It is time for AUPE members to stand up for ourselves and the Albertans who rely on us. We are ready and willing to fight for the improved collective agreements and critical public services we deserve,” says Bonnie Gostola, AUPE vice president.

A rally was held in Red Deer earlier this month on September 7.
