10Peaks Innovation Exchange welcomes students to the world of sustainable energy
The 10Peaks Innovation Exchange (10PIX), a conference designed to educate and inspire students with the possibilities of sustainable energy across Alberta, is coming to Red Deer Polytechnic on October 17.
Discussions will cover everything from sustainable projects to solar, oil and gas with net zero goals, and sustainable forestry practices, giving Alberta youth a chance to participate in innovative solutions and discussions for their future.
The event is free and has both in-person and virtual components, running from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. that day. There are 16 speakers and two keynote sessions expected, as well as a variety of interactive workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
Additionally, there will be a Student Networking Breakfast held the same day from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in the Cenovus Energy Learning Common at RDP where students, industry professionals, and community members can engage and discuss clean energy and innovation.
