Kurt Sacher To Retire Next Year

Chinook’s Edge Board prepares to launch superintendent hiring process

Chinook’s Edge School Division superintendent Kurt Sacher has announced he will retire at the end of the 2024-25 school year, after 14 years leading Chinook’s Edge School Division.

Division officials say the Board thanked Superintendent Sacher for his exemplary leadership at their regular meeting Sept. 10, 204. The Board, however, says it still anticipates a great year ahead.

Also, officials say the Board is now preparing to hire a new superintendent. The Board says it will begin its hiring process this fall, with the goal of announcing a new superintendent early in 2025.
