The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame is excited to present a one-of-a-kind event that promises to inspire and energize sports fans of all ages.

On September 30, 2024, join us for an unforgettable Olympian Meet and Greet, where you’ll have the rare opportunity to meet some of Alberta’s most celebrated athletes! This FREE event offers an incredible evening of inspiration, interaction, and behind-the-scenes stories from the world of competitive sports.

From 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., attendees will enjoy an exclusive chance to mingle with an exciting lineup of Olympians, confirmed are:

Rebecca Smith, 2020 Olympic silver medalist, women’s 4×100 freestyle relay
Marco Arop, 2024 Olympic silver medalist, men’s 800m
Molly Simpson, 2024 Olympic BMX racer, 5th place
Lyndon Rush, 2010 Olympic bronze medalist, Four-Man Bobsleigh
Diane Jones Konihowski, 1972, 1976, 1980 Olympian, Athletics

More athletes may be added as available, but the excitement doesn’t stop there! From 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., fans can dive deeper into the athletes’ incredible journeys during a Hot Stove Talk, hosted by acclaimed sports broadcaster Rob Kerr.
