Return to fall hours for City of Red Deer aquatic amenities

City of Red Deer PSA — After an active summer season, The City of Red Deer aquatic amenities will return to fall operating hours following the September long weekend. The Recreation Centre Outdoor Pool closes for the season at 5 p.m. Monday, September 2.

Recreation Centre hours of operation – effective Sept. 3

Monday to Thursday: 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Michener Aquatic Centre re-opens Tuesday, September 3 after annual maintenance is complete, and the Collicutt Centre Water Park closes for maintenance September 3 – 20.

Central Spray & Play and Woody’s Spray Park typically close in conjunction with the Outdoor Pool, however, the operating season has been extended due to warm weather in the forecast. The final day of operations will be weather dependent, and the public will be notified via social media posts and updates to our website. Upon closing, crews will begin winterizing and completing end-of-season repairs.
