Fire restriction lifted for Red Deer County

The fire restriction for Red Deer County has been lifted as of 10 a.m. on August 29.

Permits are now available here. Officials remind residents that permits are required for all open fires year-round, except for safe and acceptable residential fire pits within the County.

Although burning conditions have improved, permit holders are advised to closely monitor conditions and the Alberta Fire Bans site for changes and additional information.
