Rebels announce 2024 Training Camp schedule

The Red Deer Rebels has released its schedule for the 2024 Training Camp.

On August 29, players will report for medical evaluations before heading to on-ice fitness testing at the Peavey Mart Centrium. Off-ice fitness testing will take place the morning of August 30 at Red Deer Polytechnic.

On-ice practice sessions at the Peavey Mart Centrium start in the afternoon on August 30. All practices and scrimmages through Monday, September 2 are open to the public.

The 2024 Training Camp will wrap up on September 3 with the Black and White Game at 7 p.m. at the Peavey Mart Centrium. Community members are welcome to attend, and the cost of admission is a donation to the Red Deer Food Bank. There are also Season Seats and 9-Game Packs available for the 2025-25 season.

*Training Camp practice times may change as the weekend progresses. As of now, August 30 practices have been moved back one hour. The Group A main practice will be 2-3:15 p.m., and Group B will be at 3:45-5 p.m.

The Rebels Team Store will open briefly during Training Camp. Hours will be:

• Friday, August 30: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Saturday, August 31: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Sunday, September 1: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 3: starting at 6 p.m. for the Black and White Game

A full roster will be announced later this week.
