UPDATE – Saturday, Aug. 17

The RCMP still believe an Alberta murder suspect that fled after a fatal shooting and the wounding of another man is still somewhere in the province.

In an update Saturday afternoon, RCMP said they still have not apprehended Elijah Blake Strawberry.

However, RCMP also shared through a partnership with Crime Stoppers, they are offering anyone with information which leads to his arrest a reward of $2,000.

Strawberry is described as 28-years-old, 6 feet and 1 inch tall, and 169 pounds with brown hair. RCMP advise the public to not approach him.

The manhunt for began 10 days ago following the daytime shooting of two men who were doing work along a roadway east of Calgary.

One man died and the other was injured.

Police have already arrested Arthur Wayne Penner and charged him with first-degree murder in the death of Airdrie resident Colin John Hough, as well as attempted murder of another individual.

Police could not say where in Alberta they believe Strawberry to be as they wish not to tip him off and cause him to move or leave the province.

RCMP say they will give an update every day until Strawberry is captured, with the next one scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m.
