Ponoka to hold community job fair and registration event

The Ponoka Community Registration and Job Fair event will take place on Thursday, August 22 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the curling rink in the Ponoka Arena Complex.

Hosted by the Town of Ponoka and the Ponoka & District Chamber of Commerce, the following activities are planned:

• Registration for local sports groups and recreation programs
• Registration for community groups and activities
• Regional Job Fair with free resources for job seekers
• Free Community Barbeque – donations are voluntary with proceeds supporting the Ponoka Youth Centre
• Free Public Skate
• Coffee with Council – come ask questions and offer your input and ideas on the Town of Ponoka 2025 Budget (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.)

Residents can visit the Town of Ponoka booth to learn about upcoming lessons and programs that will be offered at the Ponoka Aquaplex and Arena Complex this fall and winter.
