Maskwacis teen found dead

A missing teen from Maskwacis has been found deceased, and RCMP say his death is being investigated as a homicide.

The body of 16-year-old Terrance Buffalo Jr. was found in Ermineskin Cree Nation and an autopsy was performed on July 29, 2024.

The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.

Buffalo Jr. was reported missing on July 24, 2024 and was last heard from on July 23.
