N. Jensen’s Bandits secure gold at provincials

Red Deer’s N. Jensen’s Bandits fast pitch softball team took home the gold in the Women’s Provincial Championship on July 28.

On the final day, the team competed against the Calgary Extreme and won 8-5.

Over the course of the competition, the team went 4-0 in the round robin against the Calgary Rogues (5-0, 13-6) and Calgary Extreme (11-2, 10-3).

Next, the Bandits will be heading to Blackfalds for nationals from August 7-11.
