Afro-Caribbean Festival will celebrate culture in downtown Red Deer

Red Deer’s Afro-Caribbean Festival returns for its second year August 17-18 and will celebrate the vibrant cultural heritage of the African Caribbean and other nationalities.

The event will showcase diverse traditions and includes cultural guests, artists, and visitors from various backgrounds.

From 12-11 p.m. on Saturday and 12-8 p.m. on Sunday there will be music and performances, a fashion show, Caribbean food vendors, and activities fro children.

Event activities will take place at the Ross Street Patio, City Hall Park, and from 50 Avenue to 48 Avenue.
