AUPE workers rally for bargaining in Olds

Members of the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) will rally in Olds on Tuesday, July 23.

Rally Details:

• Tuesday, July 23
• 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Olds Hospital and Care Centre (3901 57 Ave) on th e sidewalk that runs in front of the building.

Union officials say several rallies are being organized across Alberta following the over 50 bargaining town halls held by the union in June.

“It is time for AUPE members to stand up for ourselves and the Albertans who rely on us. We are ready and willing to fight for the improved collective agreements and critical public services we deserve,” says Darren Graham, AUPE vice-president for the Central region of the province.
