St. Albert RCMP searching for stabbing suspect

St. Albert RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating a wanted male.

Mounties say 28-year-old Kaj Alexander Randall is wanted in relation to the stabling of two female youth in St. Albert, one of which is in critical condition.

Police say Randall is wanted for attempted murder, and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Kaj Randall is described as:

  • Fair complexion
  • 6 feet 4 inches tall and 190 pounds
  • Brown hair and blue eyes

Mounties say Kaj Randall fled the scene in a 2010 Grey Mazda 3S, bearing AB Licence Plate CRN 1498.

Background:

On July 18, 2024, at approximately 10:00 pm, St. Albert RCMP responded to a residence in Riverside regarding an assault that had occurred.

When RCMP members arrived, they located a 17-year-old female and 13-year-old female, both suffering from multiple stab wounds. Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the females to an Edmonton hospital.

St. Albert RCMP are in the early stages of their investigation but want to assure the community this was an isolated incident, and that all individuals are known to each other.
