Co-op grocery operations ‘fully restored’, resupplying stores prioritized

Jul 19, 2024 | 11:06 AM

Federated Co-operatives Ltd. said Friday its grocery systems have been “fully restored” and that it would now prioritize getting its supply back up.

Co-op has been recovering after a cybersecurity incident damaged the retail and fuel station chain’s back end systems in late June.

“We are pleased to announce that our internal grocery operations, inventory and delivery systems have been fully restored,” the federated co-operative said in a statement.

Co-op’s grocery stores have reported product shortages and many customers have found empty shelves instead of their favourite products.
