Water bottle crisis at The Mustard Seed

The Mustard Seed is in an emergency situation as it has run out of water bottles to support vulnerable residents living on the street.
With temperatures expected to rise in the coming days, the organization says those individuals out all day on the street are about to face another heatwave and could see fatal consequences.
The Mustard Seed is asking for donations of water bottles for relief from dehydration, heat exhaustion, heatstroke, or worse. The organization says it has already gone through a few hundred cases of water within the last week; and the need is urgent.
Officials say donations can be dropped off at the Community Support Centre at 6002 54 Avenue, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
