Multiple road closures expected in coming weeks

A series of road closures are planned for assorted areas of the city over the coming weeks, beginning on July 1 for Canada Day activities. Other closures are for catch basin, water main, and other infrastructure repairs.

The following roads will be closed:

  • July 1-2, 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.: Kerrywood Drive from Taylor Drive to Orr Drive; 47 Street/45 Street (Capstone Loop) from 54 Avenue to 45 Street.
  • July 2, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Gilbert Crescent north of Glendale Boulevard.
  • July 3, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Galbraith Street from Taylor Drive to Gray Drive.
  • July 3 at 6 a.m. to July 19 at 5 p.m.: Mitchell Avenue and Munro Crescent Intersection. Detour will be available via Maxwell Avenue and McIntosh Avenue.
  • July 4 at 7 a.m. to July 5 at 7 p.m.: Galbraith Street east of Taylor Drive. There will be a traffic disruption northbound on Taylor Drive west of Galbraith Street.
  • July 8 at 6 a.m. to July 12 at 6 p.m.: Intersection of 63 Street and Riverview Avenue.
  • July 9 at 7 a.m. to July 11 at 7 p.m.: Gray Drive west of 59 Avenue.
