Traffic disruption on 50 Street

A portion of 50 Street from 38 Avenue to 39 Avenue in Red Deer will be closed with no through traffic as crews work to replace water and sewer infrastructure.

From Wednesday, June 12 to Thursday, June 13, City officials say traffic will be detoured north through Michener and south through Eastview.

Motorists are advised to obey all signs and find an alternate route if possible. Please slow down when approaching or driving in a construction zone. City officials say your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
