The Town of Blackfalds is set to host its annual summer celebration.

Blackfalds Days runs June 13-16, 2024, with several locations throughout the community hosting events and activities.

Thursday, June 13

The Global FMX Moto X Big Air Show featuring riders performing death-defying tricks, including backflips.

6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Eagle Builders parking lot.

Youth Night Out

6:00-8:00 p.m. Eagle Builders Centre (Arena 2)

Free admission for youth in Grades 4-12. Tik Tok-themed youth night out. Activities include inflatables, competitions, DJ, and more. Waivers (front and back) must be completed and brought to the event. Forms are available at the Abbey Centre or online at www.blackfalds.ca/events.

Sterling Industries Sports Park (Diamonds 5 & 6)

Town Councillor’s Pancake Breakfast

7:30-10:00 a.m. at the Community Centre.

Grab a bite to eat before the parade. Admission by cash donation. All proceeds go to the Tools for Schools program.

Servus Credit Union BBQ

12:00 p.m. in the Servus parking lot on Broadway Avenue.

Servus Credit Union has teamed up with the Beyond Food Community Hub to offer hotdogs in support of the Food Bank.

Blackfalds Market

12:00-4:00 p.m., Eagle Builders Centre parking lot.

After the parade, head over to the Eagle Builders Centre where you can grab a bite to eat and do a little shopping. Hosted by the Little of This Market.

Functional Mobility and Health

12:00-4:00 p.m., Eagle Builders Centre

Help celebrate their 2nd anniversary with $10 mini treatments, including ionic footbath detox, compression therapy, and laser/shockwave.

Servus Kids Zone

1:00-4:00 p.m., Eagle Builders Centre (Arena 1)

Free admission to the Ag Society petting zoo, bouncy castles, virtual reality, and more.

Pop into the library for board games, Lego building, mini paint demonstrations, as well as story time. The Disney movie Wish will also be shown from 2:30-4:00 p.m.

Arm Wrestling Championships

2:00 p.m. at the Ag Society Amphitheatre

Roll up your sleeves and get ready for the Central Alberta Arm Wrestling Championships. 50/50 Draw with proceeds going to the FCSS Back to School program.

10:30 a.m., Ag Society Amphitheatre

Hosted by Blackfalds Ministerial Association. In case of inclement weather, service will be at Blackfalds Community Fellowship Church (5005 East Railway Street). There will be a free BBQ to follow the service.

Abbey Centre Toonie Swim

12:00-4:00 p.m., Abbey Centre

All admissions to the outdoor aquatic centre are $2. Free admission for kids under 3 years of age.
